Official opening of the new building

On Thursday 4 January 2018, Baroness Butler-Sloss and Richard Edgell, Vice-Chair of Devon County Council formally opened our new purpose-built suite of offices. The building took nearly a year to complete at a cost of £1.2 million.

All Different, All Equal: Anti-bullying Week

Students took part in activities to complete an AQA award. The quality of conversation and discussion was overwhelmingly positive, with all our students showing a good understanding of issues around bullying and a very real empathy with victims of bullying and the damaging effect it can have on people.

Children in Need 2017

Throughout the school day, an exercise bike was kept in motion by the young people and staff. This endurance exercise was rewarded by a joint effort of completing over 140 km. This is the equivalent of cycling from Exeter to beyond Bournemouth!

Speech and Language award

As a result, a number of other local authorities have expressed an interest in following the Devon example by integrating a similar provision of speech and language therapy for young people who offend or are in danger of offending.
