For this year’s Children in Need, the young people at Atkinson designed and helped run a very productive day. This involved young people baking a variety of cakes and pastries. Staff and visitors were asked to give a donation in return for these delicious cakes.
Throughout the school day, an exercise bike was kept in motion by the young people and staff. This endurance exercise was rewarded by a joint effort of completing over 140 km. This is the equivalent of cycling from Exeter to beyond Bournemouth!
Children in Need was an enjoyable day which raised £108 for this very worthwhile charity.
