Koestler Awards 2017 – Under 18s Fast Forward Programme
The Koestler Awards is the UK’s showcase of visual arts, film, music, writing by prisoners and others in secure settings.
It has been another very good year for Atkinson students in the annual Koestler Awards. We have our first results back as part of the Under 18s Fast Forward Programme.
25 individual Atkinson students have achieved 82 certificates in all, 64 in visual art, 11 in music and 7 for written work.

All our students get individual written feedback on each piece of work from Koestler judges. We are now waiting to hear how all our students have got on in the main judging and whether we will have any work in the annual exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank in September.
