Atkinson students have been involved in a series of lessons looking at radicalisation and anti-extremism. The students were successful in gaining an AQA unit award entitled “Exploring and understanding values in personal and everyday life”.
In addition, the school have booked a return visit by the Saltmine Theatre Company for later in the year. The production is called “Anti-extremism and radicalisation” and the students/staff found it very thought provoking on their last visit.
